What this site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Emerald has not yet supplied a privacy notice. The summary below describes what the site actually does today; it is not a legal notice. A privacy policy reviewed for PIPEDA and Ontario requirements must replace this page before launch — see PENDING-WORK.md.
Only what you type into a form: your name, email address, phone number, chosen model, preferred date and any notes. Nothing is collected in the background — there is no analytics or advertising script on this build.
To answer your enquiry, arrange a test ride, fulfil an order and keep your bike's service history accurate. One customer record per person, kept so that the history stays complete.
In this demo build, submissions are written to a local file on the server. In production they will live in Emerald's own database, in Emerald's own accounts.
Nobody outside Emerald and the dealer or technician handling your request. Payment details never touch Emerald's servers — payment is processed by the payment provider.
