Cold weather can temporarily reduce the performance and riding range of an electric bike battery. At temperatures around −10°C, you may experience approximately 20–30% less range, depending on riding conditions, speed, wind, and terrain.
To protect your EMERALD battery, store it indoors whenever possible and allow it to reach the manufacturer’s recommended charging temperature before charging. Never charge a battery below its permitted temperature range.
